The medieval dress came into existence during the period of Tudor. These specific dresses are a mixture of late Romanian costume with the people who have moved into Europe at that period of time. For several centuries people were wearing the medieval dress which was a very different kind of dress which could match any sort of civilization. Mostly the dresses for males used to be very different compared to the tradition renaissance clothing.
The male medieval dresses were usually consisting of tunics, belts, leggings or long trousers. The other civilization like the Romanian, used the same old costume of long tunics, however by the end of the civilization these costumes also got finished. And finally the Romanian dress style could make its existence in the people for longer period of time because of the little changes made to meet up to the present day situation.
It was very difficult to know much of the information about the Medieval dress as it was a tradition to bury the dead people along with their clothes. There was a huge difference in the material used to stitch the medieval dress, for rich and royal families the material used was fur, velvet cloth, and costly silk material. Whereas, people of lesser class used ship skins, Lenin or wool to make their clothing. Hence there have been always a way of distinction for people of different classes. The rich and high society people of the medieval period are the people who could make fashion into existence with medieval dresses.
